As the son of 10-time PGA Tour Champion Mark McCumber, you could say that golf is in Tyler McCumber’s blood. An all-around athlete, Tyler played baseball, surfed, and rode BMX before focusing his attention on golf. Now a thriving member of the PGA Tour, we think Tyler made the right decision choosing golf as his sport. Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, Tyler enjoyed a successful collegiate golf career at the University of Florida before joining the Korn Ferry Tour in 2014, the PGA Tour Latinoamerica in 2014, the Mackenzie Tour – Canada in 2016, and the PGA Tour in 2002. In 2019, Tyler compiled four top-10 results and made 15 cuts in 20 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour. In his words, “if you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much room.”
