Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Sophie Bukovec has become one of the brightest stars in international beach volleyball. A proud member of Team Canada, she represented her country at the 2024 Paris Olympics, showcasing her athleticism, determination, and competitive spirit on the world stage.

Before her Olympic debut, Sophie made history by earning a silver medal at the 2022 World Championships, solidifying her place among the sport’s elite. She currently competes on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, traveling the globe to destinations like Mexico, Brazil, China, Germany, and Switzerland in pursuit of excellence.

A former USC standout, Sophie helped lead the Trojans to back-to-back NCAA Beach Volleyball National Championships in 2016 and 2017, making her one of the most decorated collegiate players in the program’s history.
